Mental Health First Aid
(MHFA) Training Courses

1 in 3 people will experience Mental ill-health.

NOW is the time to get trained in Mental Health First Aid!

Mental ill-health costs UK employers £34.9 billion each year in reduced productivity, sickness absence and staff turnover but not to worry, help is at hand. Better Pathways Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) qualified instructors will support your staff through the training course and help you to pro-actively manage wellbeing within your organisation to save and cut down on these costs!

What is it:

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised course, recommended by business in the community here in the UK.

It is designed to give an understanding of mental ill-health, how to spot the signs and symptoms and how to provide help on a first aid basis guiding someone towards professional support.

Alongwith developing mental health awareness, you will be taught a set of skills to offer guidance and support to someone experiencing a mental health related crisis.

At Better Pathways, we recognise the importance of this course and are delivering them to anyone aged 16+.

On the 2-day courses you will learn how to:

  • Encourage them to access support when it’s needed, for a faster recovery
  • Empower people with long term mental health issues to thrive at work
  • Build a supportive culture around mental health which will reduce sickness absence, staff turnover & stigma
  • Help someone who is dealing with a mental health crisis
  • Guide someone towards proper professional help
